CHADAR TREK [FROZEN RIVER TREK]
"Chadar" means blanket or veil of ice that covers the Zanskar river over the winters. This expedition style challenging trek takes one to the remote Zanskar valley which can only be penetrated in the long harsh winter months by walking on the "Chadar" - the frozen Zanskar River through the incredible Zanskar gorge with its stunning scenery and landscape.

PADUM - HANUPATTA TREK
There's lot of changes that happened to the classic Zanskar trek, which either use to be for twenty days (Starting-Lamayuru to Darcha or the vice versa) or the classic ten days trek that use to finish in Padum or Begin in Padum either towards Lamayuru. This change had happened due to construction of road of proposed all weather roads.

KINGDOM OF ZANSKAR
The ancient Buddhist kingdom of Zanskar, hidden deep in the western reaches of the Great Himalayan Range, has little contact with the outside world. Even the famous Himalayan caravan routes didn't pass this way since snow keeps Zanskar's high passes inaccessible most of the year. During the winter months, the locals commute by walking across the frozen Zanskar River.

KANJI TO ZANSKAR SUMDHO via SHADE
This beautiful trek starts from Kanji to Darcha takes nearly 23 days walking. During this trek you have cross as many as 10 passes. The highest pass in this trek is Nigutse-la at the altitude of 5100m. During this trek you will come across many village and beautiful monasteries like Lingshed Karsha, Stongde, Sani, Phugtal, Barden, Muney.
